Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Locum General Practitioner to support our Enhanced Access service, delivering high-quality primary care to patients during Saturday clinics. This role is ideal for a GP looking to supplement their weekday commitments while contributing to improved patient access and continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities

Provide safe, effective, and patient-centred consultations (face-to-face, telephone, and/or video)

Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions

Prescribe medications in accordance with best practice and national guidelines

Manage clinical workload efficiently within allocated sessions

Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records using the practice’s clinical system

Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team

Support continuity of care and appropriate follow-up arrangements

Adhere to safeguarding, infection control, and clinical governance standards
Enhanced Access Duties

Deliver appointments as part of the Enhanced Access programme, improving availability outside core hours

Essential Requirements

Fully qualified GP with current registration on the General Medical Council GP Register
